PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid lock device capable of providing a superior operational feeling, by preventing looseness generated in a knob member, by preventing rocking of the knob member, when a lid performs closing operation.
SOLUTION: This device is provided with a knob member 33 journaled to a lid 21 and an abutting structural part 52 capable of abutting on and separating from a lock member 43 journaled to the knob member; and locks the lid by the lock member when the knob member exists in a closing position by generating energizing force in the direction for abutting on the abutting structural part. The device is provided with a first energizing means 60 for releasing engagement with an engaging part by integrally rocking the lock member with the knob member in opening operation from a closing position of the knob member. The device is constituted so as to arrange a second energizing means 60 for energizing the knob member in the direction of the closing position for independently rocking the lock member by separating the abutting structural part against the energizing force of the first energizing means even if the lock member runs on the engaging part in closing operation of the lid.
