PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of deformation in a sheet-like member for covering a surface of a display part in a rice cooker having the display part or an operation part on an upper surface of a lid for opening-closing with a back part as a fulcrum.
SOLUTION: An electric part housing space 9 houses an electric part of the display part 7 formed in the lid 2, and is formed as a space partitioned from a lid inside space 14. A ventilation passage 15 is formed between the electric part housing space 9 and the lid inside space 14, and the ventilation passage 15 is provided with a one-way valve 16. When a temperature rises by using the rice cooker, air in the electric part housing space 9 expands so that pressure in the electric part housing space increases, and inflates the sheet-like member 11. When the rice cooker grows cold by stopping use, the air in the electric part housing space 9 contracts. When internal pressure reduces more than atmospheric pressure, the one-way valve 16 opens, and new air flows in. Thus, negative pressure such as recessing the sheet-like member is not generated.
