Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a lid structure for a coke furnace which is provided with a seal plate on the furnace inside of the lid body to stop tar deposition outside the furnace and cause reduced bending in the lid body, thus shows good gas sealing properties and operability
CONSTITUTION: In the lid for a chamber type coke furnace, a seal plate 13 is set to the furnace inside of the lid 12 having an insulating material applied to its inside cavity and a sealing device 14 for preventing the outside air from coming in is arranged between the lid body 12 and the bolt 8.
