The check alarm request signal designating an address is transmitted from a monitor panel 2 through a transmission line L to a control panel 1 for house in each house and by receiving the check alarm signal corresponding to this request signal, the life information can be normally monitored on the control panel 1 for house in each house remotely. A water quantity sensor S1 for monitoring the life information from the quantity of water used in each house and a human body sensor 82 for monitoring the life information from the action of a human body are connected to the control panel 1 for house in each house and the control panel 1 for house judges the presence/absence of the resident and monitors an abnormality in the life.
