To provide a life preserver, while various natural and man-made disasters suddenly occur under all circumstances, which can be opened like an umbrella for an immediate evacuation from the danger in such cases without going down emergency stairs in darkness nor getting uneasy by fearing and waiting a hook-and-ladder truck and a lifesaver for a long time, and also which is easy to use while a precious life cannot be saved if it is too late, and can be closed like an umbrella but not like a parachute which is complicated to fold up after use.

Ribs of an umbrella are strengthened, lengthened and curved. An axis is strengthened and lengthened to be straddled. A cloth is widely spread like a parachute to receive a body weight. This life preserver should be provided always available as necessary. When evacuating, a window without any electric wires around or not facing a driveway is used for getting out.
