Abstract:

To provide a life-saving device which prevents death caused by falling and crashing to the ground in an effort to escape from intense heat and allows a safe, quick, easily operated, and low-cost descent to the ground since a delaying rescue due to no effective escaping devices caused hideous tragedy, such as death from suffocation and falling and crashing to the ground, in a high-rise fire in the past.

The life-saving device for evacuation is easily operated and allows continuous, safe, and assured decent and evacuation by using a rope. The innovative life-saving device for emergency evacuation is constituted by combining a long handle or a securing handle to control the descending speed of a brake device using the principle of leverage, the brake device with an antislip device using frictional force in a pipe-shaped inside, a safety pin to be set at one's fingertip and not to have the brake device come off, a rope and a chair subjected to a nonflammable and fire proof treatment, a safety belt, and a schackle.
