Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve traction efficiency by eliminating necessity for a deflector wheel particularly in a large-sized elevator.
CONSTITUTION: A position of hanging a suspension-wheel 7 of a balance weight 5 is placed eccentrically by a distance B relating to a width direction center of the balance weight 5, to provide balance weights 24A to 24C for canceling a couple generated by this eccentric position. Thus by decreasing a distance from a head surface of a guide rail in an eccentric side to an external peripheral surface of the suspension wheel 7, a main rope 21 hung down from a rope driving wheel of a hoist can be wound to the suspension wheel 7 in a perpendicular condition.
