Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a general purpose fish way device which is installed to a river crossing structure and which is short in its horizontal level and immune to the effect of the difference between the water levels of upstream and downstream.
CONSTITUTION: A frame 11 is divided into an upper block, an intermediate block and a lower block and they are pin-jointed with each other. The intermediate block 14 is installed to a river crossing structure 9 while the upper block 13 is rotated so as to fall down on the upstream side and the lower block 15 is rotated so as to position in water on the downstream side. A housing space which opens its upper part to house fishes or a carrier mechanism 12 having a carrier vessel is installed to the frame 11 where a drive device 26 is installed so as to lift up and down the housing space or the carrier vessel. Fishes going upriver on the downstream side are housed in the housing space or the carrier vessel so that the housing space or the carrier vessel may be lifted on the upstream side. This construction makes it possible to discharge fishes from an upstream side reservoir and install them to other river crossing structures 9 by changing the length of the intermediate block 14.
