Abstract:

To provide a lifter pressure-measuring device capable of quickly finding the degree of measuring angle rotation of a load-receiving dish, which is imperative for elongation of a curl-fastening length of the measuring device body.

In the lifter pressure measuring device A having a measuring device body 10 situated in between a lifter plate and a seaming chuck that compresses can body and can lid to generate a lifter pressure, the measuring device body 10 is so situated as to elongate its curl-fastening length in accordance with the measuring angle rotation of the load-receiving dish 12 against a gage body 11. Divisions 13 with periodical numerals corresponding to each measuring angle are marked along the circumference of the load-receiving dish 12. An indicator 14 is attached on the gage body 11 as a means for reading the numerals of the divisions 13.
