To provide a slide lifter for a wheelchair used when crossing a step while the wheelchair used by a physically handicapped person and an old person or the like is mounted.
This lifter for the wheelchair has a frame for mounting the wheelchair connected with a carrier frame through a pantagraph mechanism. This lifter for the wheelchair operates a hoisting machine by utilizing rotation force of an external driving source such as an impact wrench and pulls it by a wire or the like to raise and lower the frame for mounting the wheelchair. Since driving source for lifting and lowering the frame for mounting the wheelchair is obtained from the outside, weight of the whole lifter can be reduced and the whole mechanism can be simplified and folded. As a result, the light-weight, compact and easily transportable lifter can be provided.
