To provide a lifting device having a simple structure, reduces cost and installation space, and can be fitted in a game-machine island easily and speedily.
A lifting device is set in a game-machine island, and lifts pachinko-balls restored to the lower stage of the island from game machines to pachinko-ball supply mechanisms situated in the upper parts of the game machines, in order to supply the pachinko balls to the game machines each. The lifting device comprises a cylindrical body 21 erected inside the island, a pachinko-ball push-up means 22 provided inside the cylindrical body so that its rotary shaft coincides with the axial line of the cylindrical body, and a rotating drive device M for rotating it in one direction. The cylindrical body has a pachinko-ball take-in opening in its lower part, and an ejection opening 21b near its upper end. On its internal wall 23, a helical guide 24 with a pitch larger than a pachinko-ball diameter is formed so that the pachinko balls are guided to the upper part of the cylindrical body by the rotation of the pachinko-ball push-up means. The pachinko-ball push-up means comprises a rotating- shaft pillar 25 and push-up parts 26 projecting toward the internal wall from there, the push-up parts each being continuous from the vicinity of the take-in opening to the vicinity of the ejection opening.
