Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting magnet work machine in a relatively low cost configuration, capable of effectively using a regenerative electric power discharged from an electromagnet when a lifting magnet is released.SOLUTION: A lifting magnet comprises: an engine; a motor generator mechanically coupled to the engine; an inverter connected to the motor generator; a DC bus connected to the inverter; a drive circuit connected with the DC bus; and a lifting magnet connected with the drive circuit and having an electromagnet generating an electromagnetic attraction force using electric power supplied by the motor generator. The drive circuit controls excitation state of the electromagnet, while the inverter supplies regenerative electric power discharged from the electromagnet through the drive circuit when the lifting magnet is released.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
