Abstract:
PURPOSE:To project synthesized light beams almost in parallel by alternately forming the 1st reflecting faces for a reflecting light beam made incident from one direction to its projecting direction and the 2nd reflecting faces for reflecting the light beam made incident from another direction to its projecting direction, and making these reflecting faces in parallel with each other. CONSTITUTION:Plural 1st reflecting faces A for a reflecting light beam made incident from one direction to the projecting direction and plural 2nd reflecting faces B for reflecting the light beam reflected from another direction to the projecting direction are alternately arranged so that the boundaries between both the reflecting faces are arranged in parallel with each other. The light beam from one direction is reflected on the whole faces of the reflecting faces A as shown by solid lines and all the light beams are made vertical to the reference faces. On the other hand, the beam incident from the other direction is reflected on the whole faces of the reflecting faces B as shown in short dashes lines and all the beams are projected in the vertical direction to the reference face. Consequently, the synthesized beam can be projected almost in the same direction and the light beams can be synthesized without losing the light quantity independently of a polarized state.
