Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light control window having a light control plate material enhanced in an anti-glare function and counter force against external force.SOLUTION: A light control window 10 of the present invention includes a light control plate material 14 sealed in a hollow layer 24 of a double glazing 12 comprising an exterior-side glass plate 16 and an interior-side glass plate 18. One glass plate in the exterior-side glass plate 16 and the interior-side glass plate 18 has a visible ray transmittance of 70% or less. When the one glass plate is the exterior-side glass plate 16, a transmitted quantity of external light reaching the light control plate material 14 can be decreased, which results in reduction in glare caused by diffusion of the external light by the light control plate material 14. When the one glass plate is the interior-side glass plate 18, glare caused by diffusion of the external light by the light control plate material 14 can be reduced by the interior-side glass plate 18. Further, since the light control plate material 14 is protected by the double glazing 12, counter force against external force can be enhanced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
