Abstract:
To calculate regular and irregular discharges' probabilities of an optical sensor.SOLUTION: A light detection system includes: an optical sensor 1: a discharge probability calculating portion 202 that calculates discharge probabilities for a first state in which light from an additional light source 101 having known light quantity is incident on the optical sensor 1, a second state in which the additional light source 101's turning-on/turning-off state is the same as the first state and a pulse width of a drive pulse voltage applied to the optical sensor 1 is different from the first state, a third state in which the additional light source 101's turning-on/turning-off state is different from the first and second states with the same pulse width as the first state, and a fourth state in which the additional light source 101's turning-on/turning-off state is the same as the third state with the same pulse width as the second state; and a discharge probability calculating portion 203 that calculates regular and irregular discharges' probabilities of the optical sensor 1 on the basis of sensitivity parameters stored in a sensitivity parameter storing portion 19, the discharge probabilities in the first to fourth states, and the pulse widths in the first to fourth states.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
