Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light diffuser and a sunlight collecting system capable of efficiently illuminating an interior of a room.SOLUTION: A light diffuser 10 includes a cylindrical body 12 made of a material having light transmissivity which has an outer peripheral surface 121 and an inner peripheral surface 122, the inner peripheral surface 122 having a convexoconcave part 123 over a circumferential direction and a lengthwise direction so that the light that has transmitted the cylindrical body 12 diffuses in the circumferential direction and in the lengthwise direction of the cylindrical body 12. A sunlight collecting system 100 includes: a light collection part 1 for collecting sunlight; a light radiation part 2 for radiating the light collected from the light collecting part 1 to the interior of a room; an optical duct 3 forming a passage PA where the light is propagated between the light collection part 1 and the light radiation part 2; and the light diffuser 10 arranged outside the passage PA facing the light radiation part 2.
