Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the light diffusive sheet with which a uniform surface light source is obtainable, the light transmittance is high and sufficient brightness is obtd. in the front surface direction of a display screen.
CONSTITUTION: The light diffusive layer of the light diffusive sheet which consists of a single layer or is constituted by providing the surface of a transparent base with the light diffusive layer consists of a layer contg. synthetic resin particles at 80 to 250 pts.wt. and particles having the refractive index higher than the refractive index of the transparent resin at 3 to 20 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. transparent resin. The exit light to a front surface direction is increased and the brightness is improved by incorporating the high-refractive index particles together with the synthetic resin particle into the light diffusive layer.
