To allow a light storage layer to emit light at a dark place, to allow an emission panel such as an EL(electro luminescence) to emit light when the light storage layer does not emit light, and to suppress the wearout of a battery as compared with a case where the light storage layer is not provided.
A light storage layer 11 is provided on the surface of the light emission side of an EL panel 10. Therefore, light energy can be stored by the light storage layer 11 at a light place, and emission is made at a dark place corresponding to the light energy being stored by the light storage layer 11 at a dark place, thus lighting a dial 3. Also, when the luminance of the light storage layer 11 is reduced at the lapse of time, and the light storage layer 11 does not emit light, the EL panel 10 emits light by pressing a push button for lighting, and the dial 3 can be illuminated, thus greatly suppressing the consumption of a battery as compared with a case when the light storage layer 11 is not provided.
