To provide a light emitting device for displaying the position of an underground structure facilitating to find out it at night and further, having no fear of breakage.

A light emitting device 11 for displaying the position of an underground structure is provided in a case 18 while turning the light emitting face 14 upward, and constituted of a light emitting part 12 having a mounting means 23 to be attached in an aimed position at the lower part, a housing part having a part 13 movably housing the light emitting part 12 and building the light emitting part 12 in a container 13 by the mounting means 23, and an elastic body 27 arranged between the case 18 and the container in order to always urge the light emitting face 14 upward, absorbing an external force actuated on the light emitting face 14 by the elastic deformation.
