To provide a light emitting device having a structure for improving a mixing characteristic of the lights generated from respective light emitting chips and a heat radiating characteristic of heat generated from the light emitting chips, to provide a manufacturing method thereof, and to provide a liquid crystal display including the same.
The light emitting device includes a substrate of defining one or more of light source forming areas and one or more of sub-light source forming areas separated by a spacing part in the respective light source forming areas, an electrode pattern formed in the respective sub-light source forming areas, the light emitting chips connected to the electrode pattern, and a coating film layer for covering the light emitting chips formed in the sub-light source forming areas. The coating film layers of the adjacent sub-light source forming areas are separated by the spacing part.
