Title:
LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3717879
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device having a plurality of light emitting layers with high luminous efficiency and a long luminous life.
SOLUTION: In this light-emitting device (an organic electroluminescent device), film thicknesses d1 to d6 of layers 1 to 6 are set by using formula (1) so that the light emitting intensity obtained by combining light emission caused by an orange light emitting layer 5 and light emission caused by a blue light emitting layer 6 is increased. In formula (1), m1, m2, m3: a positive integer of 1 or more (a decimal fraction of m1, m2, m3 is 0.2 or less or 0.8 or more), n: the index of refraction, L: the optical film thickness range, λ: a maximum wavelength band.
