Abstract:

A illuminating device is provided with a case having a diffusion plate that is applied in a stand manner, U-shaped cold cathode-ray tubes arranged abreast inside the case for illuminating the diffusion plate, inverters arranged inside the case for lighting the U-shaped cold cathode-ray tubes. The inverters are arranged at a lower part inside the case. The U-shaped cathode-ray tube's two ends having an electrode are arranged downwardly to form a reverse U shape. The illuminating device can solve the heat-dissipation problem under low cost even with a cold cathode-ray tube as a lamp and with an inverter as a lighting device.
