To provide a light emitting display panel decreasing a volume and weight of a device while controlling a decrease in a visibility improvement effect.
In this display panel, a predetermined form of a picture area 13 having a shielding ability against light of an emitted wavelength range of a light emitting diode 4 and a predetermined form of a transparent area 14 which is formed in the picture area 13 and transmits light of the emitted wavelength range of the light emitting diode 4 are formed on a screen of a display board 1. The light emitting diode 4 is positioned on the rear side of the transparent area 14 and fixed on the back of the display board 1. In such a manner, an excellent pinpoint visibility enhancement effect can be obtained because the transparent area 14 radiating LED light is surrounded by a peripheral picture area 13 shielding or remarkably attenuating the LED light.
