Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element and a photoelectric conversion element, each of which has excellent characteristics.SOLUTION: A light emitting element 10 includes: a cathode 34; an anode 32; a light emitting layer 50 held between the cathode 34 and the anode 32; and an electron injection layer 44 arranged between the cathode 34 and the light emitting layer 50 and bonded to the cathode 34. The cathode 34 contains a conductive material having an aspect ratio of 1.5 or higher, and the electron injection layer 44 contains an organic compound having at least one of an ionic group and a polar group.
