Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting tube array which can ensure sufficient luminance without causing any increase in the driving voltage, even in the case of high definition, in a light-emitting tube array constituted by juxtaposing a plurality of light-emitting tubes.SOLUTION: A light-emitting tube array includes a plurality of light-emitting tubes 31 arranged while being juxtaposed, a first electrode group stretching in a direction traversing the light-emitting tubes 31, and a second electrode group provided in the longitudinal direction of each light-emitting tube 31. The light-emitting tube 31 has a substantially flat quadrilateral cross-section, the first electrode group is provided in contact with one flat surface of each light-emitting tube 31, and the second electrode group is provided in contact with the flat surface on the side adjacent to the one flat surface of each light-emitting tube 31. Address discharge is generated at the corner of adjacent flat surface.
