PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting unit and a lighting apparatus capable of improving design by arranging light sources at uniform intervals even if support members each supporting a circuit board mounting thereon the light sources are linearly coupled.SOLUTION: A light-emitting unit 30A includes a band-like circuit board 40, and includes first light-emitting units 41 and second light-emitting units 42 provided equidistantly along an alignment line HL set on a mount surface 401 and each including a plurality of semiconductor light-emitting elements 43. It is assumed that a distance between the semiconductor light-emitting element 43 closest to one of the second light-emitting unit 42 among the semiconductor light-emitting elements 43 in one of the first light-emitting units 41 and the semiconductor light-emitting element 43 closest to the first light-emitting unit 41 among the semiconductor light-emitting elements 43 in the second light-emitting unit 42 is a first separate length L1. It is also assumed that a distance between a board edge 403 along the alignment line HL and the semiconductor light-emitting element 43 closest to the board edge 403 among the semiconductor light-emitting elements 43 in the first-light emitting unit 41 is a separate length L2. The semiconductor light-emitting elements 43 are arranged so that the second separate length L2 is equal to or smaller than half the first separate length L1.
