To emit a light at the contour of only portions of characters and patterns and provide unevenness at that portions by a method wherein a heated transparent resin sheet is attracted under vacuum from above a net after being placed on a mold and, after being unloaded, the net side surface of the sheet is coated with a non-light-emitting paint and finally a light-emitting paint is applied to a region, from which the net is removed.
Under the condition that a net 20 is placed on a mold 50 and a transparent resin sheet 5 is supported by a crank frame 60, the transparent resin sheet 5 is softened under heat with a heater 65. Under the state just mentioned above, by sucking the air between the transparent resin sheet 5 and the mold out of a suction port 51, a vacuum molding is performed. After the transparent resin sheet 7 is cooled down, the mold 50 is removed together with the net 20. Next, under the state that the net 20 is adhered to the rear surface of the molded transparent resin sheet 5, non-light-emitting paint 10 is applied. After the resultant sheet is dried, the net 20 is removed so as to apply a light-emitting paint 15 is applied onto the surface, from which the net is removed. As a result, a light-emitting part 6 is seen through the transparent resin sheet 5.
