Abstract:
The process for the production of light-resistant, optionally foamed, elastic polyurethane mouldings involves reacting organic polyisocyanates with polyether-polyols having a molecular weight in the range from 500 to 10,000 and with chain extenders and/or crosslinking agents having a molecular weight of less than 500 in closed moulds in the presence of organic tin compounds as catalysts and optionally with additional use of further assistants and additives, the polyisocyanates used being 1,6-diisocyanatohexane-based polyisocyanates containing urethane groups and optionally ether group- containing alkane diols having a molecular weight in the range from 62 to 400, and the chain extenders and/or crosslinking agents used being di- and/or trialkanolamines, if desired together with nitrogen- free, low-molecular-weight polyhydroxyl compounds.
