To provide a light guide plate which can form emitted light into a desired profile while improving efficiency for taking out light, and a surface light-emitting device equipped with the plate and a display device.
The light guide plate 11 has a resin film 14 and a polarizing separation layer 15. The resin film 14 has a plurality of convex parts 14D on a light-emitting face 14B. The plurality of the convex parts 14D are formed into a belt shape extending in a direction in parallel with an extending direction of a light incident face 14A (X direction in the figure) and mutually arranged in parallel in a direction orthogonal to its extending direction (Y direction in the figure). The polarized light separating layer 15 that is a so-called wire grid type light polarizer and has a plurality of wires 15A. The plurality of the wires 15A are formed into the belt shape extending in a direction in parallel with the extending direction of the convex parts 14D and mutually arranged in parallel at pitches P2 narrower than pitches P1 of the convex parts 14D.
