Abstract:
To provide a light guide with superior heat and moisture resistance and high brightness, with respect to a surface light source device used for a liquid crystal display panel.
The light guide, which is useful for the surface light source device for the liquid crystal display and so on, is formed by molding a cyclic olefin resin (A) or a thermoplastic resin composition consisting of the cyclic olefin resin (A) and 1-100 pts.wt. hydrocarbon resin, which has ≤20,000 weight average molecular weight, expressed in terms of polystyrene (B) and is solid under normal temperature.
