Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation device which is a thin type and has a light weight, and which can effectively cool an LED.SOLUTION: A light irradiation device, which irradiates an irradiation surface with line-like light extending in a first direction, comprises: a slender substrate extending in the first direction; plural LED light sources which are juxtaposed on a surface of the substrate; heat transportation means of which at least a part contacts the substrate, and which extends in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction from the substrate and transports heat generated in the LED light source in the second direction; heat radiation means which projects in a third direction orthogonal to the first direction and the second direction from heat transportation means, and has plural heat radiation fins extended in the second direction; a reflection member which is positioned on the irradiation surface side with respect to the LED light source, and reflects light outgoing from the LED light source; and a support member which is thermally connected to the reflection member, and supports the reflection member.
