Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light scanning touch panel, which can detect the extent of the influence of disturbance light, and can prevent the situation in which an accurate calculation result cannot be acquired due to the disturbance light.
SOLUTION: In a state in which during a predetermined time clocked with a timer, an off signal is outputted from an MPU 5 to light-emitting element drive circuits 2a (2b) and the light-emitting operation of a light-emitting elements 11a (11b) is halted, a polygon mirrors 16a (16b) is rotated. The maximum value and the minimum value of the received light output from light-emitting elements 13a (13b) in the meantime are detected with the MPU 5. The difference in the maximum value and the minimum value is sought, and the difference is compared with a reference value. If the difference is large, disturbance light (panel light or the like) which affects the calculation operation of the light scanning touch panel exists, and if the difference is small, the disturbance light which affects the calculation operation does not exist. Thereby, the extent of the influence of the disturbance light on the calculation operation of the light scanning touch panel is detected.
