To obtain a light shielding film excellent in weather resistance, free from decoloring and color shading, having a low haze value and capable of enhancing fashionableness by forming a colored layer containing fine particles of a multiple oxide pigment dispersed in a specified average dispersion particle diameter and below.
A colored layer containing fine particles of a multiple oxide pigment dispersed in ≤0.1 μm average dispersion particle diameter with a small amount of a dispersant is formed on one face of a transparent substrate film, an adhesive layer is formed on the other face and a releasing film is stuck on the adhesive layer. The multiple oxide pigment is not particularly limited and may be TiO2-BaO-NiO, TiO2-Sb2O3-NiO, TiO2-Sb2O3-Cr2O3 or ZnO-Fe2O3. When the pigment is used, the color of the resulting light shielding film is easily regulated, a deep quiet color toner is provided and fashionableness is enhanced. The dispersant is, e.g. an anionic surfactant such as a carboxylate or a sulfonate.
