Abstract:
To provide a light source device having a wavelength conversion element, with excellent safety, reduced color nonuniformity, and improved in light amount loss.SOLUTION: A light source device includes: a light source 110 for emitting excitation light 140; a fluorescent body 130 for emitting fluorescent emission light 141 excited by the excitation light 140; a second optical element 410 for receiving light 143 which is regularly reflected at the boundary surface of the fluorescent body 130 of the excitation light 140; and a reflector 120 having a reflection surface for reflecting the fluorescent emission light 141 emitted from the fluorescent body 130. The second optical element 410 reflects at least a part of the received light, and is disposed on a light path of the regularly reflected light toward the reflector 120 from the fluorescent body 130 with having an angle. The disposed angle is between a first angle which makes the amount of the light emitted by the reflection of the reflector 120 minimum, and a second angle which does not interfere with outgoing fluorescent light reflected by the reflector 120, and the angle does not include the first angle but includes the second angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
