Abstract:
To provide a light source device and the like capable of improving the manufacturing yield, and capable of reducing polarization loss generated according to residual stress of a light guide body, thereby contributing to "Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being" of the Sustainable Development Goals.SOLUTION: A light source device 100 comprises: an LED substrate 120 including an LED element 121 as light source; a collimator 140 arranged on the emission side of the light source for adjusting a travelling direction of light coming from the light source; a light guide body 160 arranged on the emission side of the collimator 140 for guiding light coming from the collimator 140 toward a display panel 64; a polarization conversion element 150 arranged between the light guide body 160 and the display panel 64 on the emission side of the light guide body 160 for aligning polarization properties of light coming from the light guide body 160.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
