Abstract:
To provide a light source device that is usable even in a period in which a fan mechanism is removed from the light source device.SOLUTION: A light source device according to an aspect of the present invention has: a light emitting unit that emits light according to supplied power; a support member that supports the light emitting unit; a fan mechanism that is removably provided to the support member and sends air to an object to be cooled; a detection unit that detects the attachment and detachment of the fan mechanism to and from the support member; and a control unit that controls the amount of power supplied to the light emitting unit according to a result of detection performed by the detection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
