Abstract:
To provide a light source device and an image reader capable of suppressing irregularity in light intensity in a main scanning direction.
The image reader is provided with: a base material 1 extending longitudinally; plural LED light sources 3 arrayed along a direction X; a reflector 4 mounted to the base material 1 and housing the LED light sources 3; and a light diffusion member 6 joined to the reflector 4 and overlaid on each of the LED light sources 3 in a view in a direction Z.
