Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a technique by which light emitted from a light source lamp can be effectively utilized in a light source device.
SOLUTION: This light source device is provided with the light source lamp provided with first and second electrodes arranged on an optical axis 20ax, and a concave mirror having a concave surface constituted of a rotating curved surface centering the optical axis 20ax. The concave surface 24R of the concave mirror includes the first concave surface CP1 on an area on a bottom part side and the second concave surface CP2 on an area on an aperture side. The surface CP1 has a shape of a quadric surface of revolution of the first kind with a focal point at a first electrode vicinity 22a1 on the aperture side. The surface CP2 has a shape of a quadric surface of revolution of the second kind with a focal point at a second electrode vicinity 22a2 on the bottom part side.
