Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst which has excellent light-transmitting property, catalytic activity, and durability, and a production method of the same.SOLUTION: An oxygen evolution catalyst 100 includes a graphene oxide layer 103 and a nickel-iron layered double hydroxide layer 104 carried on a surface of the graphene oxide layer 103, in which an average thickness of the graphene oxide layer 103 is 0.33-4 nm. A production method of the oxygen evolution catalyst 100 includes: formation of the graphene oxide layer 103 by applying a graphene oxide-containing composition to a surface of a substrate 101 and subsequently drying the applied composition; and electrodeposition of the nickel-iron layered double hydroxide layer 104 on the surface of the graphene oxide layer 103 by using an aqueous solution including iron ions and nickel ions. A chemical reactor includes the oxygen evolution catalyst 100, a reduction catalyst including a carbon dioxide reduction catalyst, and an electric source element connected with the oxidation catalyst 100 and the reduction catalyst.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
