Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light tunnel which prevents unnecessary light from passing through an inner part of a mirror substrate to reach a surface to be scanned, in the light tunnel formed by combining the mirror substrates cylindrically.SOLUTION: In a light tunnel which is formed by combining a plurality of mirror substrates cylindrically and emits light made incident from an incident opening, from an emission opening, a special layer is arranged between a first edge surface of the mirror substrate of the incident opening side and a second edge surface of the mirror substrate of the emission opening side, on at least a part of mirror substrate of the plurality of mirror substrates, the special layer forms a surface non-parallel to the first edge surface and the second edge surface, and a refractive index of the special layer is lower than the refractive index of a part other than the special layer of the mirror substrate.
