Abstract:
To provide a light weight structure capable of sustaining sufficient adhesivity between the inner wall of the structure and foams even at a high temperature, and a method for producing the light weight structure capable of readily producing the light weight structure which secures sufficient adhesivity, even if the structure has a complicated inner shape.
In the light weight structure having the inner space thereof filled in with foams, an aromatic formed polyimide is uniformly filled in the inner space of the structure, the inner wall of the structure and the aromatic foamed polyimide are directly bonded and the aromatic foamed polyimide has an apparent density of 5 to 500 kg/m3.
