Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high sensitive light writing reflection type space light modulator having a good quality high reflectance mirror.
SOLUTION: In this light writing reflection type space light modulator, a reflection characteristic of a dielectric mirror 3 is adjusted so as to become any one or the characteristic assembling any two among (1) the reflectance in a wavelength area where sensitivity of a photoconductive part 1 is high is made higher than other wavelength areas, (2) the reflectance in the wavelength area where read-out light intensity is high is made higher than other wavelength areas, (3) the reflectance in the wavelength are where absorption rate of a light shield layer 2 is low is made higher than other wavelength areas. Thus, the matter that the read-out light transmits through the dielectric mirror layer 3 and the light shield layer 2 to leak to the photoconductive layer 1 is prevented, and any preventing the impedance of the photoconductive layer 1 from changing unnecessarily, a noise occurring in a light modulation layer 4 is prevented, and the sensitivity is improved.
