PURPOSE: To make it possible to light a lamp easily in the dark and to control the brightness of the lamp depending upon the environment by lighting the lamp when pair of electrodes provided on a globe are touched to a part of human body and interchanging the brightness of the lamp between the full light state and a dimmed light state.
CONSTITUTION: A detecting means 2 detects that a pair of electrodes 1 are touched to a part of human body. Changeover means 3∼6, 8 set the brightness of the lamp 7 to the brightest full light state when the 1st detector output is obtained, and change the brightness to a dimmed light state when the 2nd output is detected. Thereby the brightness can be controlled depending upon the environment, for instance, such as in a bed room. Timing means 9, 10 turn off the lamp automatically after a specified time in both full light or dimmed light states. Thereby useless consumption of electric power can be reduced. Further, as a DC source 11 is provided with a built-in charging circuit 100 or an outer terminal 111 connectable to an outer electric source, so one same cell can be used repeatedly by changing it to eliminate the work to replace the cell.
