Abstract:
To provide a lighting system that suppresses increase in a communication load and thereby suppresses increase in power consumption.SOLUTION: A lighting system comprises a lighting device, a transmitter, a radio communication device, and a monitoring device. The transmitter is arranged at a position corresponding to the lighting device, and operates in a one-way mode to transmit information. The radio communication device transmits to transmitter connection request information to switch the transmitter from the one-way mode to a two-way mode to transmit and receive information. The monitoring device communicates information with the transmitter via the radio communication device. For example, the transmitters are installed at a prescribed interval, and if they receive the connection request information, they switch from the one-way mode to the two-way mode and then transmit the received connection request information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
