Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting structure for a meter device in which a pointer may be allowed to indirectly emit light as novel light illumination differently from a conventional spontaneously light emitting pointer.SOLUTION: A lighting structure for a meter device comprises: a rotation axis 4 rotated with torque transmitted from a motor; a reflection axis member 5 with a light guiding property including a cylindrical hole through which the rotation axis 4 is inserted and a recessed reflecting part 5C serving as a reflection plane; a pointer 6 integrally rotated with the rotation axis 4, having the reflection axis member 5 which fits in its rotation center to be integrally fixed and having a cross-sectional shape expanding toward a viewer; a cap 7 for putting on the pointer 6; and a light source 2 for emitting illumination light to be allowed to enter the rotation axis 4. The pointer 6 indicates various information while rotating together with the reflection axis member and indirectly emits light.
