Title:
LIGHTING SYSTEM OF AUTOMOBILE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08119031
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent invasion of rain water without letting the driver of an opposed car to lose visibility due to light by providing direction indicator lamps, head lamps, and the like on the roof of an automobile, making the lamps into streamlined form, providing waterproof packing on the lower parts, and mutually moving the irradiation positions of the headlights right and left, up and down.

CONSTITUTION: Direction indicator lights 8 and headlights 1, 2 are provided on the roof of an automobile. As a result, the field of vision is good even in the case of congestion. When the head lamps 1, 2 are lighted on the roof, even in case of up irradiation, the angle is lowered, and hence the driver of an opposed car does not lose the field of vision. The whole is made into a streamlined form so as to reduce wind pressure. Waterproof packing 7 is fitted to the lower part so as to prevent invasion of rain water. The headlights 1, 2 are alternately moved right and left, up and down, so as to select the irradiation points of both sides of the car, and hence even if the left side of road is a clif or a groove is on the right side, a car in front of his own car is easily confirmed by one-sided up light.
