To provide a lighting system capable of preventing a person under the light from experiencing inconvenience by sudden light-out or lighting when a light is turned off or turned on.SOLUTION: The lighting system includes: a control information acquisition part that acquires a piece of control information for controlling lighting of an illumination unit; a pattern control information acquisition part that acquires a piece of control information for completing the lighting after a predetermined time has elapsed from the start of the lighting of the illumination unit or a piece of pattern control information that completes light-out after a predetermined time has elapsed from the start of the light-out of the illumination unit on the basis of the control information acquired by the control information acquisition part; and an illumination control unit that controls the illumination unit on the basis of the pattern control information acquired by the pattern control information acquisition part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
