Abstract:
An illumination system (1) is provided with: a light source unit (11) including a first light source (11a) which emits first light, and a second light source (11b) which emits second light having a different chromaticity to the first light; and a light source control unit (12) which controls the light emission state of light-source light emitted by the light source unit (11). The light source control unit (12) controls the light source unit (11) to switch between a first illumination scene and a second illumination scene. In the first illumination scene, the light source control unit (12) repeatedly varies the light emission state of the light-source light emitted by the light source unit (11), with a first period, between a first light emission state and a second light emission state in which at least one of the excitation purity and the light intensity are less than in the first light emission state. In the second illumination scene, the light source control unit (12) either fixes the light emission state of the light-source light, or repeatedly varies the light emission state of the light-source light, with a second period longer than the first period, between the first light emission state and the second light emission state.
