Abstract:
A lighting system capable of effectively increasing the weight of diurnal poultry is provided. The lighting system (10) is used for raising diurnal poultry. The lighting system (10) includes a light source section (22) that emits first light having a peak emission wavelength of 560 nm to 590 nm, and second light having a peak emission wavelength of 450 nm or more and 490 nm; and a control section(31) for controlling the light source unit (22) so that the first light is irradiated to a breeding area (70) of the diurnal poultry in the early growing period, and the second light is irradiated tothe breeding area (70) of the diurnal poultry in the late growing period.
