To provide an automated lighting system formed in small size with weight lightened, by tilting and panning a lamp head of heat resistant plastic with a remote step command.
A bulb for forming a beam and a lamp head 1 of polyester including a reflector are pivotally mounted in an arm 41 of a support assembly unit 40 turned relating to an upper side panning envelope unit 20. The envelope unit 20 of cast aluminum includes a control mechanism and a power supply source, and is covered with a cover 20a. A tilting step motor 56 in the arm 41 drives a driven pulley 101 and tilts the lamp head 1 through a drive pulley and a timing belt by a remote step command from a programmable microprocessor through indication of a controller. A panning step motor 28 in the upper side panning envelope unit 20 turns the arm 41 and pans the lamp head 1 through a drive pulley 32, belt 31 and a driven pulley 33. In this way, an automatized lighting system in small size with weight lightened is obtained.
